The Power of Play

Michael Yogman, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician and member of MACIPA. He is the Chief of the Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics, Mount Auburn Hospital, and the Chair of the Child Mental Health Task Force, Mass Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He serves as Chair of the Advisory Board at the Boston Children’s Museum.

Dr. Yogman is the lead author of an article entitled “The Power of Play: A Pediatric Role in Enhancing Development in Young Children,” published by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The article has generated a great deal of national press coverage and discussion.
