Pharmacy - MACIPA

MACIPA’s Pharmacist works with our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, nurses and support staff to optimize the effectiveness, safety and cost of medication therapy for our patients. She also works closely with senior management and our medical directors involved with the MACIPA Quality and Care Management departments to develop and implement new strategies to improve quality of care. In addition, our pharmacist is available to conduct a medication review for patients with uncontrolled chronic conditions and gaps in care, in accordance to evidence-based medicine.
